The Barber of Seville

Blending old and new in a classic-meets-modern design, I used a playful vintage typeface and a simple but bright color palette. I hoped to illustrate the comedic theme of the opera with the “reveal” of the title underneath a line through shaving cream.

I wanted to create an advertising package that is uniform yet versatile and will appeal to both long-standing fans of opera as well as a new generation of opera-goers.
